i want to make friends but a lot of people are so mean now its even scary just to make friends online because of it. like you could walk up to someone and go like "hi want to be friends?" or try to start a convo and they either look at you weird or bully you. and also online too because if your playing a game or something and then want to make friends, they are rude or ignore you and being ignored is very embarrassing in my opinion!

i think making friends online is easier than making friends irl bc at least online u can make posts on ur fav fandom or smth and easily find ppl who r in ur fandom but irl its like u just gotta hope and pray that someone has the same interests as u

Making friends is really hard, I say just take it slow and be happy with your own presence. If not that then don't be afraid to put yourself out there, its not embarrassing to chase after things you want - its called dedication! >:3

I talk to people online the same way I would any stranger and have no further expectations for them. If they vibe well with me, it organically turns into a friendship over time. If nothing comes of it, we still got mutual entertainment/company. This method has worked much better for forming genuine and long-lasting friendships for me than coming out of the gate expecting friendship. Maybe give it a try.

REAAALLL, i some times end up even giving up on finding ppl to talk to. It sucks how the internet is, but depending on where you are it isn't too bad-

I think all you can do to make friends is just always be yourself. Yeah its a bit of a gamble if people will actually like you for that, but its the only way it can naturally come about.
