LoZ: Link's Awakening w/ emulator

I was just checking to see if everything was working, but my emulator feels weird when I play this game.

I had no problems playing Pokémon Red, but playing LoZ on my Gameboy emulator feels weird on my phone. I will eventually get used to it. (It's because I can't feel the buttons, so everything feels very slippery).

Where can I find the game manual? I know the game gives you tips, but I wanted to read a bit more into it.
