That and I also love how much less busy it is compared to other social medias and how it isn't like/share-based. I guess some people choose to make it follower-based in how they use it, but by the calling them friends instead, it being a strictly mutual thing, and with the relatively small size of the active user base, it makes me care a lot less about numbers in that area and focus more on people I've enjoyed talking to rather than strangers. And as Nyeinsu said, not having an algorithm is really nice too. I finally feel free without one!
Thinking about the friend/follower thing some more and realizing how strange it is in places like twitter especially to worry so much about being mutuals with people... I've never cared about who I'm mutuals with on there because I have people I know are friends whether they follow me back or not, and it's pretty meaningless to have a mutual on sites like twitter that use the follower system if you've never interacted beyond just following back. Such an odd thing to care about and this site just makes me dislike it more I think.

i agree with everything you said, its nice not to care about likes/shares/followers etc, i know some people on here use the friend count as a metric but for me personally i really dont care about the number. you dont get meaningful conversations and forums like on here on other fast-paced social medias. the small but active userbase here is super cool :D theres no point or pressure to be "popular", i think most of us are here for fun and not for social points xD

same. it feels more genuine and there is less pressure to this ideal person. i also like that you have to put yourself out there to get in communities and meet friends rather than driven by an algorithm and for you pages
exactlyy it's a lot less stressful, then when ur done u can just log off and not see distracting notifs constantly

exactly! and i just noticed that spacehey doesn't ask for notification permissions like most sns that you can use on web as well as on phone. that's so unique. also i just noticed another thing: i had a typo in my original comment. it's supposed to be "to be an ideal person" lol.
i hope this website stays a looong time on the internet as an active website. i like this website a lot more than i expected to be in the beginning.

for sure, i havent gone on spacehey on mobile tbh because i dont want it to be "portable" like i want to have to get on my puter to log in so i don't mindlessly get distracted on my phone.. i sure hope this site stays active it's a lot more fun than other social medias. dw about the typo i got it xD
