I'm f-king confussed

I don't know what to do or what to feel. I've known him for almost a year and we had quemistry since the begining, he looks at me in a way that nobody has seen me before and we are both always trying to get closer to eachother, I just can't help but feel the tension when we are together or we hold hands, we have played a couple thousands of times in the stage and when we are not acting he stays close to me, with a hand on my waist or just on me in general, last night we were on the stage floor(not playing anything, the show has already ended) and she las laid down with his head on my thigh as I played with his hair, today when the last improv ended he ran to hug me tightly out of nowhere. But just before we go home, when he is about to say goodbye with a hug and a kiss on my cheek as always, I told him that I like him and I'd like to go out with him sometime, but after saying that I'm pretty and special he says that I'm young for him and keep telling me that he is sorry that he is flattered and I'm beautyfull and stuff, but them again he tells me that there will be Ghost concert played on the cinema and he was looking for someone to go with and it could be me and leaves after giving me a kiss on the cheek. And when I get home he messages me telling me that he he is 22 and I'm 17 and the age diference and stuff that I do not care about but he still saying that we can get to know eachother better if I want like Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what the heck does that mean, can't you give me a yes or a no, i'd rather you to regect me instead of giving me fake hopes if nothing is going to happend
