uhhh idk what i'm doin fr, I really just made this acc because the website I used to be really active on (quotev) is shutting down things like messages and groups, and like. that was the only way i could talk to my friendz soooo. yeah.

hi! shutting messages and groups suck. btw was the site you used before similar to spacehey? what was it like? i'm new to blogging sites and spacehey is the only space i know so that's why i'm curious.

I mean. not really?? quotev is a fanfic/quiz site mainly, but there was also an activity/feed page where you could talk to people you follow. but from what I heard, someone posted something pretty bad, so the q admins were like "nope! now you cant talk to people anymore!!" so now they're getting rid of public activity posts(so you actually have to go on people's profiles to see their posts instead of just seeing them on your home page), messages, and groups on 1 July.
i'm sorry if that doesn't make much sense, I tried to explain it the best I can!!

you explained it really well! looks like it's not the first time someone did something horrible and then the rest of the community has to take a hit collectively. looks like it was a pretty dope website.
you probably have already known this by looking at the top entries page, but spacehey seem to have a gore/ groomer problem as well. even yesterday i saw a callout post on someone by looking at the recent entries page.
not all communities are bad, most people i've seen so far seem to be chill, decent people but since you're new and also you got minor in your profile, so as a teen to another teen, i just wanted to give you a heads-up. stay safe!
