yeah, simple as
this can make buttons and blinkies or whatever else as well, just tweak the numbers
my test subject is this particular gif of nicky wire but you can use whatever you want, don't take orders from the man

get on over to https://ezgif.com/crop and you will be presented with the following screen. upload your chosen test subject

you'll see this next. or at least, this but with nicky swapped for your thing. or maybe not if you're also a deranged manics fan. move the sliders to crop it roughly into stamp shape (around twice as long as it is wide)

don't bother messing with any of the settings here. once you generate your new image, click resize

now we're thinking with stamps. make it 93x50, ignore the other shit and get generating

aww now he's tiny. click overlay next

click extend canvas size before doing anything else

upload your stamp template! you can find a million of these everywhere but here's the one i use, from here. download away

the tutorial is made with this one in mind so you might need to mess
with the numbers if you use anything else
this sucks and i hope you die, i hear you yelling and shaking your fist at your screen. calm the fuck down! you can move it easily enough. 43 left and 23 top seem to work perfect

joy of joys, it looks like a stamp. now click crop to get it down to the classic size

time to change a setting! nooo, you promised this would be dead easy! take a few deep breaths to centre yourself, then check trim transparent pixels

at last, a stamp. download and you're done! if you were hooked by altering settings in that last step, though, check out some of the other options to add text or filters or whatever to it - ezgif is nice like that

ta-da

comment if my tutorial was either too complicated or too simple and you need help, i will offer assistance if i'm feeling nice. and maybe give some kudos as well to join the fight against "how do i make a ___" blogs

this is rly useful but the website removed the feature "trim transparent features around the image" do you know any workarounds or other methods to fix this small issue, sorry to bother
WHAT EZGIF HAS BETRAYED ME you could crop it manually on the same page, shouldn't be too hard to get it precise since the image is pretty small. hope that comes back though

Really great tutorial! Didn't know that website had that feature. It'll be super helpful for me for my future stamps. Thanks for sharing!
