i realised that i yapped a lot in my interests section on my profile... so i'll shorten it down, but i'll keep the unabridged version here in case anyone is interested. ^^
General
I have a lot of interests, most of which surround more creative things. I love character creation, and when I draw, a character is usually the central aspect of my piece. I like to write and make up stories around my characters... I have tons and tons of them. I also like painting with watercolours and using other traditional mediums sometimes. I love history, especially ancient history and the 1920s - 1940s. Ancient Greek history is probably my favourite of all, but I also love the 1800s... I love etymology (the study of the history of words) and words in general. I often write poems or prose that doesn't really fit into any bigger story, but simply exists as something nice to read. Speaking of reading, I do read a lot as well... not this year, though, as I haven't really had the time. I do have a lot of books I want to read, however! I also care a lot about animals and the environment. My favourite animals are birds :D Umm... besides that, I really love astronomy. However... I'm absolutely awful at maths, so when it comes to things I know about the topic, it's less about the physics side of it and more of the things I can understand. Moons and planets are really interesting, but the things that I like most are stars. I love the constellations (especially the ones with mythos attached to them) and I love individual stars as well. Most of the things I know science-wise are kind of astronomy-related, too. :) I also love to play video-games, specifically ones focused on a story like Undertale or other games of that nature. Oh, and also, I'm very good at Hollow Knight, surprisingly :D
Music
I really like music a lot, and love all sorts of genres :D I probably love The Oh Hellos and Phoebe Bridgers most of all. However, I also like: Cavetown, Boygenius, Dodie, Jukebox the Ghost, Ben Thornewill, Fish in a Birdcage, Madilyn Mei, Kaho Nakamura, Galileo Galilei, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bon Iver, Lady Pank, Mitski, Cigarettes After Sex, Iron & Wine, Hot Freaks, Dom Fera, Toby Fox, Will Wood, Keaton Henson, Bo Burnham, Jome, My Chemical Romance, Rocky Montgomery, Hwang Puha, Gregory and the Hawk, Tom Rosenthal, Autoheart, Caroline Polachek, Luciano Pavarotti, Cojum Dip, and a lot more... I just feel like I probably should not list all of them. In terms of classical musicians, I adore: Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Chopin (particularly his nocturnes,) Pachelbel, Satie, Schumann, and Liszt. I tend to favour artists from the Romantic Era, but Mozart is also kind of cool... I guess. >///>
Movies
I do not watch movies a lot, but I love basically every single Studio Ghibli film :D I also watched the recent Mario Movie with my siblings and it felt like a fever dream so I think that's good..?
Television
Similarly, I don't watch many TV shows... but I do like some. I love Over the Garden Wall, The Amazing World of Gumball, South Park, and some of the anime adaptations of the manga that I like. I also LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MOOMINS
Books
I like a lot of books... many books... I love The Little Prince, 1984, Animal Farm, the Warrior Cats series (although I haven't read it in a long time,) basically anything by Haruki Murakami or Tove Jansson, Death Note, Beastars, The Enchanted Lake (Irish fairytales,) Sherlock Holmes stories, Edgar Allan Poe's stories and poems, Lord of the Flies, The Song of Achilles, The Iliad, and some Shakespeare. I love "classic" books and I want to read a few more of them (like The Picture of Dorian Gray) and I also like reading poetry collections. However... more than that, I like children's stories.
Heroes
Snufkin and Moomintroll, The Little Prince, Legoshi (he's too cute,) Near and Mello, Noel Levine and Claire Elford, and some of my own characters too :D
Games
Hollow Knight, Witch's Heart, Your Turn to Die, Danganronpa (please Kokichi kinnies don't attack me,) Minecraft, Terraria, Ib, Misao, Mad Father, VRChat, and Roblox sometimes
