Grace - AKA Naiad

- a village struggles from a drought

- a mute girl is found in a basket in the river

- fishing starts to succeed

- villagers think it's because the girl is a goddess 

- they start praising her

- she can't deny it because she's mute and accepts it

- the girl gets named Grace

- Grace grows up alone, being good friends only with fish and spending most of her time in water

- 19 years later the drought comes back

- villagers ask Grace to do smth but she can't

- villagers believe that they had been betrayed by the gods and unload their anger on Grace 

- they decide to make a human sacrifice

- they tie Grace up, break her legs and drown her

- she becomes one with the fish

Anne Lester - AKA Toy Merchant

- a child named Anne is born in a very wealthy family

- the mother dies and 50% of her money is supposed to go to Anne when she grows up

- the father blames Anne for her mother's death and wants her to "become the woman her mother was"

- Anne really loves to play with toys her mother bought her before death

- a lot of men wants to get with her because of her upcoming wealth and she ends up falling in love with one of them

- he conspires with her father and steals her money 

- Anne ends up being poor but suddenly a hidden 30% was given to her

- she opens a toy shop

(also there is a pretty popular and logical theory that she unfortunately had a miscarriage at some point of her life)

Galatea - AKA Sculptor

- a family realise that their daughter Galatea is really good at sculpting 

- they hire her a teacher and she starts to sculpt with them

- one day she gets a letter asking her to come to a large manor to sculpt for the owner

- something happens when she was there that nobody knows about and she comes back absolutely obsessed with sculpting 

- at first, the family is really happy to see her doing her favourite thing with more passion than usual

- after some time they realise that she is not eating or sleeping and that she talks with her sculptures like with real people

- one day her father gets really mad and throws the statue out of the terrace

- Galatea jumps after the statue and gets hemiplegia (paralysis that affects only one side of someone's body) 

- the family think that she is crazy ad sends her to the asylum 

- the doctors used inhuman treatments on Galatea, but her condition did not improve

- she began to refuse communication and obsessively carved the same face, which she named after herself

- due to material limitations, she could only carve a head before being caught and treated again

- Galatea fell into madness, was isolated in a remote yard, and cared for by a single nurse

- when the nurse failed to report to the doctor one day, the doctor went to check up on her

- Galatea was found missing

- all that was left behind is a blood-soaked room and a complete sculpture of a woman's body with her own head

Ada and Emil - AKA Psychologist and Patient

 - Ada Mesmer, born into a family of doctors, is a well-educated psychologist

- her initial theories fail, as test subjects can't endure the pain from her hypnosis

- after several failures, she leaves the institution to find new subjects and research methods

- years later, at White Sand Street Asylum, Ada meets Emil, a patient with amnesia who responded well to hypnosis

- Ada becomes attracted to Emil, realizing he was the ideal test subject she had sought

- her asylum contract ends

- she decides to help Emil escape due to her complex feelings for him

- she continuies her research with Emil outside the asylum

- after years of research, she sees some progress, but Emil's condition suddenly worsens

- she gets a letter from the Manor where it says she will find a cure if they go there

about Emil's past:

- his parents sold him to men involved in dogfights due to their inability to care for another child

- the men forced him to beg for food and used him to entertain by throwing him into dogfights

- years later, he was found on White Sand Street with a fever and amnesia

- he was institutionalized in the White Sand Street Asylum after being found

- at the asylum, he became a victim of numerous unethical medical procedures before he met Ada and they escaped together

Vera Nair - AKA Perfumer

- Chloe and Vera are identical twins

- Vera is popular, Chloe is called "weird" because of her passion for perfumes

- her sister was the only one who loved Chloe

- Vera uses her fame and opens a perfume shop for Chloe to sell product there

- the shop is very popular and is doing really good

- Chloe thinks that Vera tries to steal her talent and her possible fame

- Chloe kills Vera and steal her identity 

- the new "Vera" is running the shop 

- Vera founds her dead's sister diary one day

- she realises that the real Vera loved her a lot

- she understands that she killed the only personwho cared about her

- Vera starts to create a new perfume "euphoria" which makes you forget the past

- she goes to the Manor to complete the perfume
