Gacha Cards Rant

 I've seen some discourse that's been circulating on Twitter and TikTok about this topic so I'm just gonna... Shove my two cents here because I believe it deserves wayyy more text to convey my feelings that both platforms can't provide. 

 People who compare one gacha card art to another and bringing others down gets me kind of annoyed? Because at the end of the day, all gacha games' card illustrations complete their task of generating money. That being said, some gacha series explore further with composition than others, but mostly because they have the funds to do so and also because of their focus when it comes to cards. 

 Some card illustrations are character-focused, because in some games, you can set the card illustration as the home screen itself. Character clothing and designs in said cards also play a huge factor too, as some games has a Live2D or a 3DMV feature in the game. Either way, I feel like you shouldn't shit on games for "not exploring with compositions" because sometimes they actually can't, whether it be financially or technically from the game's set up. 

 Would make more blogs detailing which games specifically that enjoy card illustrations of, since I like a lot of them, but I'm not sure if like... I'll have the motivation for them. Teeheehee, anyways uh...

TL;DR: People's opinions on gacha card illustrations are kinda stupid because they are serve their purpose at the end of the day. You are all spending money on them regardless on which is better <3
