can somebody here drop recs for cool 2000s-like jeans that arent mad expensive? 😭 i genuinely can't find any irl and it literally sucks because i dont like high rise jeans at all. the ones i find online are literally so overpriced and ridiculously expensive. they dont even have to be vintage from the 90s/2000s. im just tired of searching and not finding anything cool </3

This is 100% relatable for me. I'm also sick and tired of high waisted bullshit still being almost the only option (either that, or mid rise being falsely marketed as "low rise" despite having a rise greater than 7.5 inches) unless I get lucky enough to find a pair or 2 in my size online after spending hours of my life being frustrated over not being able to find anything that meets the criteria. >:(
At this point, I've considered making my own low/ultra low rise jeans (and other bottoms) from scratch, though my sewing skills aren't that advanced yet (especially when it comes to anything involving denim), plus I'd need to buy a pattern and then modify that pattern manually, which of course can be time consuming.
