I've been thinking about Disco Elysium a lot

i'm trying desperately to replay it atm as i've only played through the entirety of the game once (and it was with the logic as my highest stat so i didn't even get all the fun stuff!!!!) but i think i seriously need some stimulants or something because my brain REFUSES to focus. that being said, i adore this game and could talk about it for hours!! but also not right now, so im going to accumulate a bunch of my thoughts on this post whenever my neurodivergent ass is able to!

god i adore this post and im so so glad someone had the ability to explain it how they did. ludonarrative is my fucking favourite thing ever, especially in story telling (im certain ill make a post about the beginners guide asap). of course putting your belief into a philosophy that prioritizes hate and suffering would make you feel terrible, especially when it is just not realistic at all. we're social creatures ffs, individualism is inherently against our nature!!! fuck capitalism and communism and all that obviously
