I'm bad at making friends :3

Sometimes I wish I knew more people that shared my interests or wanted to go places like lunch or something but it's really hard making friends when you live in texas and have moral standards, everyone here is a conservative, pro-genocide or some sort of phobic. I'm also not very approachable and have the genres of mental illness that make you socially incapable, so I think thats also kind of fucked up. And I don't really have to much interest in making friends online because I have never seen that go well either, so I have no idea what to do about any of this.

I have tried looking for groups though, like organizing and grassroots groups because those are the type of people I want to be friends with the most I think. Theres just not that many and the ones that I can find are farther up in Houston or at a university I don't attend, my college has nothing either. If any one knows anything I can do about this or where I should look that would be really helpful though.
