When I plug my external hard drives into the PC, sometimes it acts
up. I'm guessing it's because I have too much junk on all my various
hard drives (I'm a file hoarder u_u), so I thought maybe I should look
into increasing my computer's internal storage capacity.
I'm
hesitant to take anything apart since I'm still pretty new to
customizing computers, but trying to figure out where you plug NVMe
things into kinda started melting my brain. I was able to find the SATA
ports easy enough, but I think the NVMe ones are like... behind metal
panels? So I think I'd have to at least take out the graphics card to
even install one.
I also feel like I can't get
dust out of it. It's not like it's piled up a lot or anything, but when I
look up videos and tips on how to remove dust, it feels like 80% of it
is just "haha yeah you can't remove the dust or you'll fry your computer
:) anyway, buy air in a can". I wound up buying a rechargeable air blower thing, thinking that'd be more sustainable in the long-term, but
it doesn't seem to... do... anything...
I just really want to take the fans out and wipe them down with a rag, but I'm scared I'll break something if I do that.
Hahh...
I wonder if there's like... dummy computers you can buy to practice on
lmao? Like how you practice medical things on a fake doll thing before
you go anywhere near a human, if there's like. Toy fake computer parts
you can practice with lol
Maybe I should just unplug and replug things a few times to get over being too scared to touch it.
