You make me sick
But I don’t throw up,
Or feel any pain.
Yet you leave me bed-ridden,
Just staring at the rain.
You make me sick
My face gets warmer,
And my heart starts to flutter.
And when you’re next me,
My words start to stutter.
You make me sick
You’ve plagued my mind,
So all I can think about is you.
So I do everything I can
To find something new to do.
You make me sick
As I crave your attention,
Clinging to every word.
Every look leaves me hoping
It’s almost absurd
.
.
.
So now I sit and wait,
For this sickness to go away,
But as the days go by,
Memories only replay.
Memories of you, your smile,
And the way you’d look at me.
Then I realize…
How sick I could really be.
So now I wait,
Till you connect the strings,
Till you realize, you’ve made sick…
And it’s not really a bad thing.
