Designing an icon for macOS Big Sur

This fall Apple released a new version of macOS and with it an entirely new design language, especially for app icons: the age of flat icons is over and more realistic and vivid icons are taking over. Designing an app icon for macOS Big Sur which perfectly matches the look and feel of macOS 11 is kind of tricky - to help you (and me) get inspired I created a Dribble collection with impressive icons.

I myself have faced the challenge of designing a new app icon for an app I developed for macOS and have spend lots of hours creating various icon ideas - but it was fun and worth it. Good luck with making your icon:)
