I was having a difficult time getting the display on my laptop working. This used to be a bigger problem for my laptop but it mostly has been eliminated by the introduction of a screen saver to my laptop, but TODAY it decided to act up again. It's supposed to be a part of the features on the computer when someone isn't using it, the display "shuts off" but it's so badly integrated that it is near impossible to make the display turn back on when it does that. You can press the space bar or use the mouse and the display will show that it still works (it glows a little but like still a black screen) but it doesn't like turn on, showing that it ISN'T ACTUALLY TURNING OFF THE DISPLAY but in actuality it's just MAKING THE SCREEN GO BLACK. I know this because one time I had a video paused and after opening the computer with my PIN, I kept tapping the screen and the video would continue to play MEANING that the computer was fully functional in this state, YOU JUST CAN'T SEE THE SCREEN. Anyway, my Philosophy final is tomorrow, we may get through this, SpaceSleepers. I still have to do my language lesson for tomorrow along with my regular today's work... — Mars ᓚᘏᗢ |
