Being serious though, I donāt really like them but I will be honest I donāt know that much about grunge music. So everything is just based off of how it sounds. I can have a very in depth and serious conversation about metal though lol

That's valid.
But it's why it's called "grunge". XDD
Thank God, grunge came along and took the attention away from Hair Metal, even if only for a little while. I'm also grateful for it because it influenced later alt-rock bands that I love.

I donāt really like it when people say, āItās supposed to sound like that!!ā When someone says their music sounds like trash. It happens a lot with extreme metal. Ok, maybe it is supposed to sound like trash but I donāt think it does. Why the hell would I listen to something if I think it sounds like trash?? I think itās an excuse people say when they donāt like their music but listen to it to try and be different. Again, Iām not big in the āgrunge communityā but thatās kind of how it is for metalheads

Yeah... but that's what the word grunge means. XD
It's not just with grunge tho. Nowadays, you can wear polished trash. Not everything that shines is gold or a diamond.
