This is all figurative but not in a "deep" way like at all
I think I kind of get it, the nostalgia of older times that were more meaningful and stimulating verses the now. Nowadays it feels empty and lonely even amongst the masses, things just aren't what they used to be and its harder to get that same fulfillment.
