So I was wanting to start writing a story and I have no clue what to start the chapter off with. I don't have any idea what the story would be about, so any help would be good. Maybe a few character names or a bit of background info. It's fine if not, because I'll come up with something eventually; I just need something to get the creative juices flowing. If not its fine! have u tried to find aesthetic inspo off pinterest and/or looked at prompts? That always helps me! ( ˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵ )
1st Generation
in my opinion i think it would be best to start off with short stories to get your feet wet. I feel like alot of us can think of a loose plot and imagine a whole grand epic with lore and geography, but that shit is hard asf to do lmao. Just start small and see where the story takes you. Like a spy trying to find a cure to his brothers sickness, a hero trying to save princess that doesnt need a hero (thats just shrek), a dog that got lost from home. Small ideas like this can help stimulate grander ideas and plots. Plus always practice, it actually helps.
