Dream's Embrace

In dreams, found love both true and rare,
 A vision of your face, so bright and clear.
Your touch, a whisper in the midnight air,
Brought solace to my heart, and dispelled all fear.

 Your eyes, like stars, shone in the velvet night,
 And in their depths, I saw a world so kind.
A world where love and joy were ever bright,
A place where heart and soul were intertwined.

 Yet dawn arrived, and with it, you were gone,
A phantom of the night, a fleeting shade.
I woke to find my dreams had led me on,
To yearn for you, the love my heart had made.

 Though you are but a dream,
my heart still wishes that one day,
 dreams may yet be real.
