HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY THREE CHEERS FOR SWEET REVENGE 💗

Three cheers for sweet revenge by My Chemical Romance has been one of my favourite albums, probably my favourite, for years. I fell in love with mcr before I was even born (thanks to my dad). He used to always play there songs in the car and we'd always sing along together.

Give 'em hell kid: 10/10 When first listening to this song I was obsessed with it straight away, the bassline is amazing and it's just super addicting "well theres no way i'm kissing that guy"

To the end: 10/10 my dad's favourite revenge song, AMAZING SONG "TO THE HEARTS YOU BREAK AND ALL THE CYANIDE YOU DRANK"

You know what they do to guys like us in prison: ∞/10 MY FAVOURITE SONG EVER I COULD GO ON ABOUT IF FOREVER BUTTTT I LOVE THE FIRST LINES BECAUSE WHEN FIRST LISTENING TO IT, IT WAS LIKE I WAS IN A MOVIE AND THE POLICE WERE SHOOTING AT ME AND I WAS DOGDING THERE BULLETS AND STUFF "DO YOU HAVE THE KEYS TO THE HOTEL? CUZ IM GONNA STRING THIS MUTHERFUHKER ON FIRE, FIRE!!!!!" (plus the laugh at the end always makes me giggle)

I'm not okay (I promise): 10/10 i love the music video so much to this song, probably one of my favourite music videos especially when gerard gets an F then gets punched, frank jumping out the locker and franks "trust me" "you like dnd, audrey hepburn, fangoria, harry houndini and croquet. you can't swim, can't dance and you don't know karate, face it your never gonna make it. I don't wanna make it, I just wanna...DUNNDDUDNDNDUDN"

The ghost of you: 10/10 first my chem song I learnt on guitar, such an addicting intro and the first time I ever watched the video I bawled, and from then on I still cry every time I watch it "and all the wound that are ever gonna scar me, for all the ghosts that are never gonna..."

The jetset like is gonna kill you: 10/10 THE TRANSITION FROM TGOY TO JETSET LIFE IS SO SMOOTH, IL IT SM!!!!! UHHHH JETSET IS PROBABLY ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAV SONGS ON THIS ALBUM, super good song love it smmm "check into the hotel bella muerte"

Interlude: 8/10 didn't know whether I should include interlude or not, I love interlude sm buttttt I love tbpid interlude more "saints protect her now 🙏"

Thank you for the venom: 10/10 I LOVE THIS SONG SM!!! when I first heard it I deadass thought gerard said "GIVE ME A BETTER CARRRR SELINE" anywayyyy i love ray's guitar solo sm "HALLELUJAH LOCK AND LOADDDD"

Hang em high: 10/10 i love fast paced songs sm and also the transition from like country to hard rock is crazzyyy + w gerards scream its the perfect combo alsoooo featuring keith morris from black flag and circle jerks telling a story about a decapitated truck driver behind the bridge "SHOTGUN SINNERS, WILD-EYED JOKERS, GOT YOU IN MY SIGHTSSSSS"

It's not a fashion statement its a fucking deathwish: 10/10 I LOVE THIS SONG SMMMM ESPECIALLY THE EARLY VERSIONS OF IT, THEYRE SUPER GOODODO "YOURE RUNNING OUT OF PLACES TO HIDE FROM MEEEEE"

Cemetery drive: 10/10 SUCH A GOOD SONG OMGMGGGG "in the dress your husband hates"

I never told you what I do for a living: 10/10 SECOND FAV SONG ON THE ALBUM!!!!!! THE GUITAR WORK IS ACTUALLY SO SICK FOR THIS SONG, I LOVE THE LYRICS ITS REALLY WELL WRITTEN AND I FEEL IT TELLS A REALLY GOOD STORY AND I JUST LOVE HOW THE SONG PLAYS OUT "AND WE'LL LOVE AGAIN, WE'LL LAUGH AGAIN, WE'LL CRY AGAIN AND WE'LL DANCE AGAIN"

also, on my cd it has a star (*) next to Helena, i'm not okay, ghost of you and give em hell kid. I though they were labeling the singles at first but give em hell kid isnt a single, does anyone know what this means?

ANYWAY I COULD RANT ON ABOUT THREE CHEERS FOR HOURS, THE PLOT AND STORYLINE OF THE DEMOLITION LOVERS ETC....I LOVE REVENGE SM AND ITS A REALLY GOOD ALBUM
