I keep forgetting abt this site, its nice to go back and visit social media before it was all Ad this and useless feeds that. any of my friends here still use this on any sort of regular basis? or anyone in general? i noticed theres a mobile app now which i got, its a tad slow but hey its still a more enjoyable experience than the absolute trite we have now; though i have to be honest, the format of current socials is a bit nice in some ways for like accessibility sake and comfort.
might use this more who knows, im so wishy-washy with social media and even back in the day i never really blogged or anything like that, always been pretty private with most of my life.

I've been using this more often lately as well. It feels like a breather for your brain or something, it's made me realise how overstimulating other social media can be! Too bad none of my irl friends wanna join though
Im inclined to use it more as well, i just recently came back to it after 3 years being gone. at first i was like hey this is novel and a blast from the past, but now im really in agreeance that its a breather from how incessant current platforms are. i have one irl friend on here but they arent active, im curious if any of my other friends might be interested. admittedly we are totally guilty of being stuck in reels and tiktoks etc. hoping i can stick to it and at least tone down my use of those time wasters and go back to the roots when it was all about connecting with eachother from afar.

Oh I'm totally guilty of tiktok doomscrolling too. I've even been thinking of buying a brick phone to use outside of the house but that's maybe too big of a step. I don't think I'd survive without google maps lmao

Ok but that's a good idea LMAO, ngl if I could get my old razr phone working or even better my old sidekick Id def switch but again, I'm basically computer-bound given my job and the fact I only go out if I'm going to go hit the club or go for a ride on my motorcycle, so I feel I'd neglect it anyway soon after
