Anyone else here absolutely OBSESSED with any of the games in the Guitar Hero franchise, or is that just me? Because I LOVE the franchise, especially Guitar Hero 3/Arcade (which is literally just the arcade machine version of GH3). Between my experience playing it, the YouTube videos I've seen of it, the characters, and the polished graphics (among other things), I'd say GH3/Arcade is the best game in the franchise but of course, that's just my personal opinion.
There's this arcade about an hour away from where I live that still has a Guitar Hero Arcade machine and whenever I go there, it's always the first game I play while I'm there (after I've eaten from the little buffet they also have there). And as you can probably tell, I love how the song "Pretty Handsome Awkward" by The Used is on there. I am just that obsessed with this game and I also LOVE how it makes me feel as if I'm actually in the year 2009 (which is the year Guitar Hero Arcade first came out). :D
I accidentally discovered the machine on my April 4th, 2023 trip there (it was near the bumper cars and prize booth) and got hooked to it since.
I'm also considering getting an older game console and Guitar Hero 3 bundle (with the game and guitars and all) and hooking that baby up to the CRT TV I have in my room (a mid 2000s Toshiba model in silver with a broken built in DVD player, but no built in VCR and a rectangular button panel towards the bottom). I'd be the coolest kid in town if I were to do this. I'll also try and see if anyone out there has archived the optional DLC songs (as unfortunately, they're no longer officially available by Activision as of 2014 for GH3).
Anyone else here love any of the Guitar Hero games as much as I do, and if so, which game in the franchise is your favorite?
