So I saw this really cool person on YouTube that draws fishes with lore and it's really cool. The "problem" (I figured it would be) is that I decided to make my own lil fish character named Borealis. Since I don't usually talk about my art and I never show it, I figured this would be a problem and I should be attacked. Is it safe to make a character from an idea someone else made?
Btw the artists name is Opaline. They're cool :)

everything is inspired by something else!! there's nothing wrong with being inspired by someone else's work.

Most artists dream of inspiring others to create, I think this person would be flattered if they knew that their videos did so.
