I will go ahead and start this by saying i love charli xcx and she is mother so there is a bit of a bias. However, I have listened to brat 3 times now since it was released yesterday and have loved it every time and every time i noticed more and more little details. I feel like this is the style Charli has always wanted to do if she had creative freedom. I think this record was really experimental which i loved and i feel like it was no bs and vulnerarble. From her making fun of internet it girls to when she gets vulnerable and talks about the existential realization of death's inevitable arrival and how shes been thinking about starting a family, literally mother. Brat was very raw and honest and AG killed it and every producer on the album. All of the tracks were great however i did have a few favs: sympathy is a knife, everything is romantic, so i, girl so confusing, b2b, mean girls, and 365. Again all of them were great and "i think about it all the time" is definitely a track that cannot be skipped. cant wait to see where charli goes from here, forever an icon. take a listen to brat by charli xcx wherever you listen to music.
