my music obssesions

Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language 

I have always loved music, obviously who didn't. It started mostly with my dad, he would play anything and everything on the record player. His favorite genre's were Jazz and classical. But ofc that good 60's 70's and 80's rock as well as classic, heavy metal was also played a lot in the house. 

The first band i personnally really got into was Queen, and shortly after i became OBSESSED with David Bowie. That man is a genius fr. 

When I started being more active online I found Hamilton. AND I WAS AGAIN OBSESSED. I sang that shit all the time. Btw i started getting really into musicals, like Beetlejuice and My little shop of Horrors. 

I discovered Mcr through memes and the internet in general.  It was amazing, like i discovered the secrets of the universe. My chem has been my number 1 on spotify for like 6 years now. Also I became obsessed with the other bands that are maybe not really considered emo music wise and stuff but they were very important to the alternative scene in general. Panic! and Fall out boy for example.

first few "real" emo bands i listened to were like Taking back Sunday, Asking Alexandria and Brand New. I also lisened to more scene stuff like Brokencyde and because of my gacha phase were nightcore songs my jam.

Through pinterest and (sigh) Wattpad (i know i know) i discoverd PTV and I started getting into more heavy stuff. Bring me the horizon and Black veil Brides. Through a friend i started listening to more goth bands as well. Bauhaus ofc, Skeletal Family and Corpus Delicti. 

Through mcr i started listening to Misfits and Blackflag which got me very into punk as well. I now love the bands Capital Casualties, Doom, Digust and subhumans. Also Folk punk is so amazing Against me! is my fav.

With metal i started with what my dad played: TNT, Saxon and Iron Maiden. Then listend to Metallica and Ministry. I actually found Murderdolls before i found Slipknot. Love both btw, Rip Joey and Paul. 

Then Death, Entombed and Possessed. Fucking loved it and i went further with brutal death metal like Dying Fetus, Skinless, Cryptopsy, Suffocation and Aborted. Brutal Death is right now my main listening choice, its just so good. 

With Black metal, i started getting into Bathory, Darkthrone and Gorgoroth. But i personally love the more melodic and atmospheric. Summoning is perfect, i love Lord of the rings and i love Black metal, they're one of my favs. Dissection and Marduk also go hard af. Asagraum is so good as well, you should check them out.

my "newest" music obsession is Sludge metal and Doom metal. I listened too them for longer but as of recent i became relly interested and did a lot of reshearch for good bands. Candlemass (ofc) started my intrest in Doom, god they are rad. Sludge was Acid Bath and Dystopia, i fucking love that shit.

ok ok i'll stop ranting. Music has been my Hyperfixation for my whole life. This is just  little introduction, i wil probably go more in depth per genre because music is so good and it deserves the attention and energie.
