Peach Girl

1. [ I wrote this on Discord initially, hence why the text looks weird :') ] I actually like this love triangle a lot even if it was frustrating to watch. Both the guys got a chance with the female lead and they all had different challenges to face. I was always hoping Kairi ended up with Momo though. There’s just something about Toji I don’t like and Kairi is a more enjoyable character and I like how he always put Momo’s feelings first even if it was at his own expense. Toji just does an ultimatum instantly and is quite pushy with the idea of Momo picking one or the other instantly. It had me annoyed that he didn’t even give her proper time to think about it. I think it’s nice how you get to see the things Kairi does for Momo without her realising and him acting like nothing happened if it means she’s happy. It was quite annoying to see her get with Toji after Kairi risked his life to see her and he acted like he didn’t do anything of that when he saw Toji and Momo together. It was also annoying to see how he turned down Misao saying that she was going to tell Momo about what he did. I’m glad that Sae ended up telling Momo. Since it was so many episodes ago that she told Kairi she would I didn’t think she would do it anymore but I’m happy to see that she did. I often get worried about little things in stories getting forgotten at later points. It sort of just gets stuck in my mind the whole time until I see something confirming that it wasn’t forgotten. I also really like the Character development of Sae becoming a better person after falling in love with someone who was similar to her old self. Although she still has her flaws it’s nice to see her and the mains interacting in a non toxic way and it’s nice to see her not craze over ruining everything Momo has. I’m glad that inferiority complex she had when it came to Momo is gone. I’m also glad that Sae has absolutely no interest in either of the male leads and how her interest for Kairi went as soon as he turned her down the first time we see them interact in the anime. In my opinion they have quite a sibling bond and I actually quite like their friendship even though Sae isn’t that good of a character and how they for the most part don’t get along. It was also nice to see her and Momo interact with each other in an actual friendship way. For most of the anime Sae would only claim they’re best friends if it benefited her so It’s just good to see them actually interacting as friends. As for Momo she is a good character but it was annoying to see her save Sae everytime she got into trouble and for Sae to constantly wrong her still after all those times. I wish she would grow more of a backbone. I also kind of wish that she didn’t cause so many misconceptions about Kairi. Nearing to after the Typhoon accident where Kairi risks his life for her she gets his student notebook and sees that he has a picture of her in it. When she was his second choice he had the nurse as his. I sort of wish she could’ve pieced together the fact that after the incident she was his first choice. For a majority of their break up she kept assuming Kairi’s first choice was still the Nurse and that he still loves her when that was far from the truth. I guess I just wish she would’ve communicated with him more so that she could truly see how he feels even if that went against what they agreed on. I also just wish that she didn’t run into so many misunderstandings with Kairi and sort of just ran away from them or didn’t voice to him how she felt. She’s overall a great character but she shouldn’t of let herself get trampled all over Sae multiple times and I wish she would’ve tried harder with Kairi. She got with Toji real quick without even thinking to guess if something else happened. I mean, there was a whole Typhoon that night. Her brain power wasn’t there when she needed it. That’s all I have to say on the characters. Toji is probably the one I like the least out of the Main 4 so I don’t feel like talking about him to the extent of the rest. I guess I just wish he was less hypocritical, communicated more instead of acting like nothing was wrong, tried to hear out Momo more about Sae originally and took more consideration into when he told her to pick between him or Kairi. I’m pretty sure he asked only a week or two after her and Kairi initially broke up. He could’ve gave her more time to think. I do take into account that he did break up with Momo just so Sae didn’t ruin her life at the time so I can’t say he’s too bad of a character. He’s just kind of there to be honest. There’s nothing special about him.
