I just read a blog saying that people who "bitch" about gore is apart of the problem and that we should apply for mod if we care so much.
Bad take.
Some of us are minors and don't have enough time to take care of the website.
Also, why would you say that? Just why?
MAYBE just MAYBE some of us "bitch" about it because we don't wanna see it everytime we open the website? Like what?
As I said before, people don't like gore. Nobody is just gonna stop posting about gore cause you want them to.
How about YOU apply for mod?

we cant control other peoples parents and tell them to keep their kid off the internet which is why we have to be super vocal about the gore issue so that the mods can get off their asses and do something, especially for a site that is mostly minors

honeslty i dont expect any1 2 apply 4 anything 2 try n fix it themselves, but honestly i think it isnt that bad telling people 2 ignore it. the people posting gore are literally TRYING 2 harm others, they dont give a fuck about your feelings. and people constantly posting about how awful it makes them feel is only gnna fuel those people more. complaining about the situation repeatedly will not actually help @ all. i dnt like gore either, but spamming blogs n bulletins with "oh no theres gore again!!" and callout blogs on the people who post it really hasnt done anything so far. this has literally been going since like, august from last year. people have already given ways 2 get your mind away from it and (if you're on computer) hide the new people's section. some people will literallyt CLICK onto the accounts knowing full well its gonna be bombarded with images and noises they arent gonna like and then later be post bulletins like "i feel so sick... wish i didnt see that... heh.. its so bad.."

the gore spamming has actually been a thing for a very long time so i think (as awful as it is) alot of the older users have just kinda adjusted to it.
have you tried using ublock or other services to hide the new users section where it gets posted? theres been plenty of blog tutorials posted over time
