I have found myself up late at nights browsing spacehey blogs, and would like new music to listen to while I do so. Notably, I am only looking for albums or eps, not an artist or singles.
The genres I typically am interested in would be indie rock, 5th wave emo, math rock, hyperpop (i'm picky with that though), and probably some more I'm not recalling. You may suggest things outside of this scope, though I will likely not listen to any rap or country based music. Nothing against it, just not my style.
Thank you in advance, my friends.

I recommend you Purgen, Klamydia, Choking Victim and Blitzkid, these bands are pretty energetic and most of them are punk I believe. I personally love them ╰(▔∀▔)╯

Please listen to Tricot : T H E if you haven't . The album is pretty energetic and insane. Brave Little Abacus album called Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright , is pretty insane too . I also been listening to Sheena Ringo : Shoso Strip , which the album is pretty good. The other artist I would recommend also is number girl . Their album Sappukei is insane. I really recommend them if you like something from the pixies.

Have you heard of Algernon Cadwallader? They're pretty good - though I'm not sure what genre they technically are, to me, they're kinda like math rock. Their self-titled album specifically.
They're the first band that comes to mind when u mention math rock i guess...

O, Brittle Weather by Drunk Uncle
since you're into 5th wave emo stuff, i really like how they take more clear influence from 2010s bands but this newest album sounds more like other 5th wave than their first album and ep, also they're my fav band in my local scene and u gotta support ur scene yk

Quite the big claim for a genre I'm not particularly familiar with. We'll see what I think. Thank you for the recommendation nonetheless.

After listening through the main songs off the 2008 remaster, I find that while it is not a flavor of music I particularly love, there were parts I thought held very good ideas. Straight To Video would have to be my favorite of the tracks.

D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L by Panchiko’s a sort of shoegaze-y album with some nice songs

I'm surprised with how many songs I've heard individually from this album, that I have not listened to it myself. I do enjoy shoegaze-esc music, so I will listen to this.

There’s not too many songs on it imo, the other half of the album is the same songs from the beginning but with “disc rot”

Good to know. I'll update you when I am done with the album.

I have finished it, and I rather enjoyed all the songs. They felt a little samey at times, but with music like this, with how I listen to it, that is nothing that detracts from the overall enjoyment. Was surprised to realize that I knew the track "Laputa" far better than I thought I had from just cursory secondhand listens. Overall, a nice album.

Nice, glad u enjoyed it. Yeah some of the songs sound a bit same-ish sometimes but it’s still a good album. Laputa’s one of my favourites actually
