Doing things alone

This summer, I've made a new goal todo more stuff alone. Like most people, I always feel so awk and/or anxious when doing new stuff alone or stuff that you would normally do with friends and I want to work on being comfortable being uncomfortable. Sooo I've been solo traveling more to new cities and sites. I've been eating out alone (I have only done it maybe 10 tens but it is slowly getting easier todo. I usually end up watching yt so genz of me :D ). I've been going to fancy Instagram famous cafes alone. I think that is the worse one lol just cuz I will always over hear friend groups convo and feel a bit lonely but I found if I write or draw in the cafes, it makes me feel better LOL. Anyways, I hope to continue to do this and get better at it, that way I can do what I want todo and have no regrets (the E in me is dyeing). 


Sometimes when I feel very awk about it I just think to myself "these people don't know me and I'm never gonna see them again so just do it". And that has kept me going, hopefully it continues todo so for the rest of this summer.

I completely get it! I often feel this way too. It's amazing that you're taking steps to overcome your anxiety and do things you like alone, that's something to be proud of. You're doing great! :)
