Video Collages/AMVs I have done RANKING

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Awnru0_ttR8

^ This the big one. Made a whole 22 minute collage to celebrate my first music album release. Really came out fantastic and I thought I did a good job although some of it could be better. Most of my videos I aim to do a digital version of paper cut out collages. It would be cool if one day I implemented a more paper cut out aesthetic but for now I strictly want it to be digital lol. Fun fact: all the videos used in this one save for the hidamari sketch/anime scenes are all videos I shot, some specifically for this album's visualizer (that later ended up becoming this) and some that are ancient. Good time, it was fun and tedious but mostly fun to make this.

^ I love this video, song featuring one of my favorite bands of all time, easy on the eyes visuals and most importantly a video collage featuring old ass videos on youtube that I cobbled together and made something completely new out of. The video in particular used as the background is a recording of times square in 2006. I actually went to times square in 2019 and the differences are vast while the similarities are also strong. It's weird how much a place changes.

^ This one is lowkey my favorite one I did but I rank it lower because I feel I could make it even better now. Dynastic is a great musician and I highly suggest everyone checks them out. This video was so much fun and I think the smash bros beta stage fits the 2006 aesthetic well. Love this shit, man.

^ This one is probably my most popular video I ever made that wasn't album reupload, and it features a song by Blue Smiley (amazing band, although word on the street is everyone knows about them now because spotify recommends them heavily. I'm not complaining though, they absolutely deserve that recognition). I used footage a guy traveling a hotel in North Korea as the background, Hidamari Sketch manga panels, and panasonic test footage to create a unique feel. Couple that with me bordering the video with old 4chan banners and gifs and add a filter that creates a dreamy atmosphere and you got a recipe for success. I should use filters and vfx more, but I feel they take away from the raw energy videos give.

^ This was a video for a Your Arms Are My Cocoon song, and somehow caught the attention of YAAMC who commented on the video. It blew my mind that I caught his attention, I love his music. The video itself was one of the most fun videos for me to work on. I think it was my first Adobe Primere video and honestly just a lot of things came out right with it. There's really not much more to say.

^ This video is OLD and I loved working on it. Pretty much made it solely about Azumanga Daioh and it came out really nicely. Rip /azu/

^ Features one of my favorite Snowing songs and it is just really upbeat. I also tried incorporating some humor into the video and some of it work, some of it didn't but who cares I was doing it for fun anyways. I also got to use old Elebits footage and I really love Elebits as a game so WinTM

^ First video I ever did in the video collage style and probably the most consistently weird and abstract in a good way. I never was able to replicate this videos dreamy style. Features a great song from HASAMI Group and everything came out really nicely. Honestly love this video to this day and the other video I made using a Xiu Xiu song and Kino no Tabi that youtube rudely removed because of a copyright claim (bullshit imo it fell under fair use and was a fun video). Both these videos are great, and I'm glad that the introduction video didn't endure youtube's wrath, although Pass Away getting copyright strike'd really pissed me off.

^ This one was a video that had a great idea and great visuals but suffered from some timing issues as a result of my computer having a meltdown from all the effects and me having to guess where to put footage as a result of heavy lag. But I still love this video and I think it did it's job well.

^ A nice video where instead of using music from other bands I actually used my own music. I actually reuploaded this video recently to TikTok and am kind of nervous how it will be received. It's a decent video though not my best but I really did enjoy making it.

^ This was a video using one of my favorite Johnny Foreigner songs and dedicated to one of my best friends who passed away. Because of that I get really depressed when I watch it. I also don't thinking the editing was as good as it could've been and didn't do my best friend and his amazing taste/personality justice. I also used homemade videos I made for the video which doesn't sit right with me but I didn't feel comfortable using my friend's personal images and videos on the collage. Despite that, there are areas I think this video does succeed in but its far from my best work, although I may be biased because thinking about this video makes me upset that I couldn't make it a grand tribute to one of my best friends. I still miss him greatly.

^ This video has some great moments but its also another case of not feeling the best when I made it and it kind of reflects that. I still think its a fun video but I can do better.

^ this video was stupid and fun and I really enjoyed it despite it not being a video collage. Just kind of a stream of consciousness rambling and somewhat vlog-like AMV that I just really enjoyed. Might be biased because it's one of my favorite Archers of Loaf songs in here.

^Originally meant to be a sequel to the Haruhi video and it ended up being its own thing, partially because I couldn't find happy Madoka gifs/footage and partly because I decided to make it a serious video because it features one of my favorite new artist, Strawberry Hospital (who is great and you should check her music out). It turned out to be really fun and was nice to experiment with different styles

^ Video I made for a song I did on guitar, recently reuploaded to TikTok. Nothing special but I really enjoy the vibe

^ I hate and love this video. I hate it because the visuals are utterly wack and does not fit the song or lyrical content (not to mention this song already has a music video so whats even the point) but love it because it features my cats and was just a video I made out of complete boredom so it was fun to do.
