cool profiles on this site

it makes me feel weird to see all these younger teens have the exact same interests i did when i was like 10-15. im glad its living on and im not like a lot older than them its just crazy to me. some people on this site werent even alive when lucky star was released. this site really does make me feel like a young teen again. but its also a little disorienting since there are a lot of teens on here. id love to make friends here but im not looking for a teen friend unless theyre like 18-19 cause it would make me feel like a creep lol.

im glad younger people still like our cringe emo anime stuff :)

AND NOT TO MENTION HOMESTUCK???? KIDS STILL LIKE HOMESTUCK?!?!

Ditto ALLL THIS - But when you think about, despite how annoying microtrends are, how much they have done for preserving some older medias. I am thinking about how Moomins is getting a resurgence out of nowhere, but when I was in the 90's I could not find another kid who had ever seen it- Invader Zim made a strong mark on the hyperemo/2000s emo scene and so I think the kids are still finding it. This trendification does mean that the consumption cycle condenses down to like, the crystal version of any given genre so stuff like "Johnny the homicidal maniac" a precursor work by the Invader Zim guy is largely forgotten comparatively.

Also crazy voice in me wonders if its any people in our age group maybe roleplaying a young person for fun? Like Where are the kids watching Invader Zim now? How? But thats the surprise talking.
