I just got done crying about man made bird extinctions.

Me.

Um, tw for bird death I guess

Rip the great auk, who's last confirmed pair were killed by a fisherman in Iceland, and the last individual auk who was captured by three men on the islet of Stac an Armin, St Kilda, Scotland in 1844, where they were kept tied up for three days before being beaten to death with a stick by the men, who thought the bird was a witch and that tbe cause of a storm that was coming in.

Rip to the Carolina Parakeet, whose last living member (Named incas) died at the Cincinnati zoo on February 21st, 1918 at the age of 35. They were slaughtered by humans, being deemed as "pests" due to their rapid consumption of fruit and grain plants. He died less than a year after the death of his mate, Lady Jane, and both of them shared a cage with Martha, the last passenger pigeon.

Rip to the passenger pigeon, whose last member (named Martha, after Martha Washington) died at 1 pm on September 1st, 1914 at 29 years old. She was found by her caretaker, dead under her perch. Their habitats were destroyed to make room for farmland, and they were hunted and killed for food to sustain the increasing population boom that had been flooding into the United States.
