01 | ๐Ÿฆ‘ Hachirล (OC & INFODUMP!)

This OC exists in a world with hybrid creatures.
In this case, Hachirล is the hybrid of a human and a squid.

  • There are other existing hybrids, such as bees, pigs, foxes, and more.

Due to his squid ancestry, he takes on a few distinct traits. Most notably is in his hair, which drips ink.

  • Hachirล's hair was originally more of a dark blue color, but because his hair drips black ink, it is permanently dyed black.
  • This trait effectively gave him the nickname Hachi, or "8" (i see you, nana fans...). When he was younger, Hachirล accidently dripped ink onto one of his friend's shirts. They tried to wash it out 8 times before giving up.

Hachi also wears a black face mask, as he inherited one more obvious squidlike trait. Similar to a snake hybrid, his jaw can unhinge and open more than a normal human.

  • Combining this with an elongated tongue, Hachirล uses his face mask to refrain from scaring people or being the center of attention.
Hachirล's personality isn't something incredible or outstanding. He's incredibly shy, and detests accidentally making anyone uncomfortable.

  • While this can make him seem cold or standoffish, he deeply trusts the few people who make an effort to know him.
He enjoys going out of his way to be kind to people, and doesn't mind running errands for others.
Like any OC, Hachirล isn't bad-looking.

He's got a porcelain complexion, with jet black hair, and black eyes. Hachi is rather skinny, but isn't much above average height. His voice is quiet and calm, and typically is never raised.
