Writer's Block

Recently, I've had some issues with writer's block. I'm actually working on something at the moment, so it's not that I'm not writing. The issue is that I am usually coming up with other ideas at the same time as I work on something, and in particular, coming up with script ideas. As a screenwriter, this is kinda worrying since I need to be able to keep up with an ever-changing film & tv landscape. I'm not currently writing anything I can put in my portfolio... should I maybe just go back and do edits to my previous work? Do I need to take a break from screenwriting and just focus in on this novel I'm writing? Any advice or even just solidarity would help, cause it's been driving me up the wall lately.
