it's time

quite frankly i have no reason for being this late

the end of may and early june didn't give me open slots to update my entry

but (⌐⎚,⎚)..!

the school year ended successfully☆

i've been resting and putting other things above blogging (。。 )ゝ so enjoy my last min efforts to publish something before june is over (笑)

i'm finally well rested

recap of finals week was more awkward than brutal..

early may was hell since i was working on my final 3d installation and i think we've concluded i have no ounce of craftsmanship in my hands (＾＾＃...)(fml) so it was two weeks of testing materials but i think my hard work ended up pulling through

 like hmm....

my classmates ended up complimenting my work and said it was cool AF and it was coming from people i've never really spoken to...so gamdong since i wasn't sleeping at all that week and did an all nighter waiting for a package to come in so i could figure out how to install a mini light bulb so adrenaline was at an all time high (my heart was beating so fast driving to school. Help)

my prof said verbatim it's because of ppl like us* that he has hope for the future of graphic design and that i stay true to my style of design....Is that true...I can't tell if that translates well into my online identity (≧∇≦)..

*gal power! cos he talked privately to top students and we were all girls (LOL) then said the design industry is being taken over by women& it's crazy to see the shift from guys to girls

speaking of finals...

my final senior presentation that got pushed early for riize ended off pretty well

i added bleed in my files when i sent it to printing so i had to print my book twice since they didn't tell me to take it out and paid almost 100 (ﾉω･､ꐦ)..and it still wasn't good cause the ink was cracking from the paper thickness when they creased it but i can tell they were not having it

i was a little upset..

they printed it again right before closing so i decided to read my prints outside the doors and they followed after me to close the doors and lock it (with customers in there)....(i sat outside like this)

nonetheless i received academic validation

i had to come in 5 days earlier than my section so i presented in front of nobody i knew plus my prof introduced me to the class cause everyone was looking at me like (・_・ヾ? it's also been a while since i woke up any time before 10am besides all nighters so i was running on adrenaline (again)

i never read submission comments so u can imagine how i reacted cos i was at a cafe with my friend and we saw this peeking on the side of my screen then clicked and read it together

little by little i've been adding more brown items to have a neapolitan theme but i am anti-warm brown so it's been mission impossible to find dark choco (º □ º l|l) i've also just been spending less since i took a break from part timing

thinking about new room decor

&having trouble finding wooden wall hangers like these..

i'm starting to think my rotation of aesthetics are based on seasons as well (″ロ゛)

① fall → 

i sometimes prefer wearing black and grey and replace most of my pink daily essentials for black (i also find it nice how much easier it is thrifting jpn punk clothes that have more of a casual feel...)

② winter → 

baby pink and white/light grey R seriously the best in winter....my base aesthetic i feel

③ spring → 

kinda the same but a teeny bit more saturated

④ summer  → 

something visually warmer and gentle for the summer time (yesss)

went to txt last min and packed when i got home since our flight was the day after so we spent the whole day rotting in our hotel and ordering delivery since we were recuperating from post-txtcon...

i also made a hair appt to dye my hair ash brown~^^

unfortunately i walked out with warm dark brown hair

after my consultation and seeing my inspo pics they recommended to not bleach but color my hair twice and let it fade away using purple shampoo (hint it's been a few weeks but the color isn't budging) so whenever my hair isn't styled after drying i look like bebechichi

i actually went to a ksalon for the first time

my classmate has a friend who recently just opened a salon, so i had a discount

(YES!) ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡

i asked for this style with super thinned out&disconnected layers but i ended up with the k-drama special with clean and blended layers lolol kinda like a really neat hush cut

i went home and spent the evening trimming the top layers of my head shorter for more contrast

i feel like i look washed out with warmer hair...

i bought this kokkuma pouch before leaving for riize and it delivered while i was out (*^^* )☆ was orig looking for the ones i've seen on twitter but the sherbet version is slightly paler and fits my taste (also most PERF inner lining with baby pink ribbon as drawstring material)

i have no prior knowledge of modding my devices (besides getting my cousin to jailbreak my ipod when i was a kid) so i'm hoping i'll be able to learn and customize my theme =┌(;・ω・)┘ Truth is i'm not fond of games besides tetris and rhyhtm games (anything speedy 〇 taskful games Ｘ)

since i took my senior design courses, i've been making plans to figure out how to stay creative on a schedule since i'm no longer tied by academic motivation...i've also been forcing myself to get into the habit of sketching and writing to ideate __φ(．．;)ugh

③ 【portfolio】

dreading this but kind of excited to take on more personal projects |･ω･) &expand my skill set since i have some time to fully pick up blender or motion graphics...not to mention i'm paying 19 a month for my domain and website so i need to make it worth

④ 【room decor】

thinking of making some major changes to my room since i'm finally moving into my sibling's old room so i can perhaps include a kotatsu-esque piece and tv^^~~~

⑤ 【arts&crafts】

sweets deco and other things...(∪｡∪)｡｡｡i've been considering putting more future effort into making/gathering materials for videos [nods head] so i can sell the part (´～ヾ ) can this be considered leveling up my handiwork skills (yes)

dyeing my hair makes me want to get my nails done for a full transformation but i have an irrational fear of cuticle cutting and the drill bit...this set from piopionails are a dream★ i've been looking into home studios but for now i'm gonna continue with press ons....
