hoping for love someday...

a friendly reminder (mainly to myself) that love still exists and there's someone out there willing to give their all to you. 

these days, romance seems to be of the past and people are opting for more casual encounters. i get it; you want to try things out and go with the flow. see what happens and let it all happen organically. but at the same time...i want to write love letters. have flowers given to me on the first date. slow dances to 50s music. that sweet feeling when you both look into each others' eyes and can't help but get all shy, acting like a crush who's yet to confess. i want that type of love at least once in my life. 

I'm not in any rush to date at the moment, as i enjoy my solitude. it'd be nice if one day, i find someone who feels the same way. something cheesy, yet honest, coming from the heart.
