Did I quit? Nah, I lied. Sparky Nova - The YOUKAI is out now. (+ news)

I swear, there's an important rule you should always keep in mind around me. Whatever I say, expires. It could expire after 2 seconds, 10 minutes, or 4 days. 

Sparky Nova has some potential. I came up with the alias while making some tracks for DANMAKU01. I imagined, if there was an alternative universe where Sonic4 didn't exist, what would be my nickname? Sparky Nova is certainly a strange name for an artist, but it works well. This album is strange, and the style isn't like a regular half-assed Sonic4 album. It blends the straight-to-your-face horror from The Outsider with the loud and absurd style of Sonic4, both modern and classic.

The album cover looks like The Master Of Arguments but slightly altered to match the album that sounds like it's from a different universe where my life turned out very differently. Instead of dealing with love-crazed literature club alternates and anger issues, here it's about the struggles of trying to live Gensokyo, I'm assuming. I don't know the origins, purpose or identity of Sparky Nova.

And just so you know, Sparky Nova is not The Outsider. What Sonic4 is to The Protagonist is what Sparky Nova is to The Outsider. Two different people in the same universe telling various stories of their own. Alice98 Test Records' lore is confusing to me too. Crazy that I have to sit down and try to theorize what happened to whom, and I encourage the same for you too. There's an untold story there, you just have to really think about an explanation of what's trying to be shown and how it's being shown. Again, I failed to come up with a meaning for this album. I'm not saying there isn't, I'm just saying that it's incredibly confusing.
