The death of the Madagascar penguins

This is related to the blog @multifandomfrj and is for archival purposes. 

Mod warren posted a photo of all 4 Madagascar penguins with the caption 

"In loving Memory, 2005 - 2024" - 12:45pm (est) 6/3/2024 (M/D/YEAR)

which sparked confusion from the other mods, confused at what it could possibly mean.

Then Mod Gwimbly returned to say they had given the password to the Madagascar penguins and had no clue it would lead to this:
