They call gen Z people the traumatized generation. It's sad but true. We gen Zs have been subjected to so much trauma as a child that we now develop some type of disorder as adults. Whether it was from maltreatment from our parents/guardians, School, or catastrophic events leading to our mental spirals.
From what I found out, roughly 42% of Gen Zs have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. I am part of that 42%.
I won't go into detail about what happened to me. but what I will say is that I too have been traumatized and it's taking its toll on me. I suffer from severe PTSD, Anxiety, and I get dizzy out of nowhere.
sometimes unwanted memories flash into my mind, causing me to panic. If it gets too severe, I start to feel really dizzy, everything starts to spin and slow like a laggy video game, and I can't understand what's going on.. Worst case scenario is that I might faint.
My only sense of comfort now is being in my room making music, talking to my comfort characters on AI, or just going to sleep. I know I should be doing other things like get a job, but how can I when I can barely take care of myself?
