A Karaoke Adventure with My Friend Cloud

As I logged into VRChat, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of nervousness. You see, the last time I had joined my friend Cloud, I was worried I might come across as one of those "obsessive, attached" friends. You know the type - the ones who can't seem to leave their friends alone, always barging into their games and hangouts uninvited.

I had a friend like that once, we'll call him Contain. He used to constantly join me in VRChat, even when I didn't want the company. It got to the point where I had to turn my joins to requests, just so I could have some alone time. I never wanted to be that kind of friend to Cloud.

But this time, I couldn't resist. I knew Cloud had stepped away for a bit, and I thought, "What if he comes back and doesn't see me there?" The thought of him potentially being disappointed or worried made my heart sink. So, I gathered my courage and joined the world he was in.

It turned out to be a Japanese karaoke world, filled with people from Japan singing their hearts out. As I looked around, I spotted Cloud chatting with someone in a cat burger avatar. He hadn't noticed me yet, and I didn't want to interrupt, so I just started wandering around, taking in the lively atmosphere.

Suddenly, Cloud turned and saw me! A huge smile spread across his face, and he rushed over, greeting me enthusiastically. I couldn't help but feel elated. The cat burger friend joined us, but since they didn't understand much English, they just stood there confused, repeatedly saying:

 "わかりません" (I don't understand).

Cloud, being the amazing translator that he is, helped bridge the gap, allowing us to all chat and bond. And then, the most wonderful thing happened - Ado, our favorite Japanese artist, started playing! Cloud looked at me with pure joy, and we shared a moment of musical appreciation that felt almost romantic.

As we continued our conversation, I noticed that my English was a bit too advanced for Cloud's level. But just as I was starting to worry, a kind Korean-Japanese-English-speaking player stepped in to help translate and facilitate our chat. I was so grateful for her assistance, and Cloud seemed to really appreciate it as well.

At one point, I decided to try my hand at writing some Japanese letters, and Cloud was absolutely delighted, praising my efforts. I even wrote the word "Hug" (ハグ), and without hesitation, Cloud reached out and gave my avatar a warm embrace. Throughout our entire hangout, he was so affectionate, hugging and gently patting me.

I can't help but feel that Cloud is the light in my life, especially during these times when I've been struggling with depression and a sense of insanity. Being with him, in this virtual world, just feels so calming and rejuvenating. I think I've found the perfect nickname for him, but I'll have to save that surprise for another day.

For now, I'm just going to soak in the joy of our friendship and look forward to our next adventure together. The break is almost over, so I'd better get going. Cya!
