haaaaiiii!!!! 

im jayde, a 21 year old alternative stoner from the midwest. im suuuper socially awkward, and always anxious, so i dont do well in irl spaces. i come here to make some friends and hopefully find a community where i feel good!! ⸂⸂⸜(രᴗര๑)⸝⸃⸃ 

i love nature and art of all forms!!1! ｡^‿^｡ sometimes i draw, or make digital art. im always trying new crafts, like clay or wire wrapping, even crochet. i like to hike and explore nd have picnics!

im a big collector of all kinds of oddities (more like a hoarder but whatev) like: 

pinned insects (another hobby of mine hehe (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) rocks minerals and crystals, bones fossils n teeth, miniatures of all kinds, weird currencies, dried flowers, cds and vinyls, legos, video games... general fun and whimsical knickknacks. （♥￫ｏ￩♥）i love whimsical.

i like to play video games, but only super casually, so dont expect much skill from me. i have an xbox360, ps4+5. maybe if we become friends we can play together! 

some games i like include:

fortnite (obviii its super popular lol and easy to play)

fallout (new vegas and 4 are my favs, but i also play 76 sometimes. i love running around and picking up junk, and i LOVE settlement building. the stories are interesting and i can really get lost in them)

bioshock (2 is my fav, but i havent played any of them in awhile. theyre very nostalgic for me though as they were some of my first games, along with--)

FABLE!! ♡＾▽＾♡ fable 2 was one of the first three games i owned, alongside bioshock 2 and viva pinata XD its open world free roam and character build really established in my mind what i want from games- to run around collecting building and just living life in different realities. im currently playing fable 3 for the first time!!)

i also recently started playing bayonetta, but i gotta be honest it isnt my fav. im not much for the scored level arena battles, but i do really like the style and story so im sticking it through. 

music is a big part of my life! my boyfriend is a lead guitarist for a thrash metal band, and i often record and do merch for them, so im at tons of shows most weekends! ill probably post about that stuff too once i figure out how to include pics (≧▽≦) 

i wont lie, when i say im a fan of a band, i still often dont know who alls in said band. im not one of the people who get really big into fandoms, or bandoms lol. i kinda just add the songs to my playlist, buy some shirts if i like the art, and go about listening (-｡-; im also not really good at naming genres, so i usually just refer to my taste as alternative. theres alt rock, different metal types, weird shoegaze stuff, random songs that hold weird nostalgia but definitely dont fit my current style... ┐(ﾟ ～ﾟ )┌ all my music is kept in one 14hr long spotify list which is linked on my front page. in it youll find stuff like but not limited to-

system of a down, metallica, megadeth, korn, deftones, mcr, tool, sublime, weezer, peach pit, mushroomhead, boa, alice in chains, radiohead, ozzy osbourne and the cardigans... and some other random stuff, like bands i meet when touring with my rockstar bf!!

for work i am a jack of all trades at a local hot dog drive in! i cook, i carhop (waitress), i manage and in general just make sure we stay afloat. my boss is a super cool lady who was actually my culinary teacher in highschool, so the jobsites really relaxed when we can be and we have a lot of fun ╰( ^o^)╮╰( ^o^)╮ i luv my job even if some ppl think foodservice is lame. i get to have fun, meet new people, and make yummy food all while getting paid!!
