Life updates

whoo boy I kept on meaning to like blog and then I forget so here's some rapid fire shit.

I went to a ren faire with my mom and my aunt on memorial day cuz it was the last weekend/day for the faire and I had a great time. I got this new absolutely adorable plush/sculpture who is now sitting pretty on my fantasy shelf. (I also recently put all the animal companions I've collected up there until the next ren faire season) and even though I had a great time it was 95 degrees and 95 percent humidity. It was a great time. and also kind of miserable, I was doing a dread pirates cosplay (ehh partially closet cosplay but it was from my ren faire closet so it was pretty accurate) and it was cool enough in the shade but when the sun was fuckn beating down on my back it was pretty awful. I did not get heatstroke thankfully and no one else in my group did but when I was watching one of the preformers (Zilch the storyteller, who is great and if he's ever around you should totally go watch him) someone passed out, thankfully staff was very quick and they got the help they needed. But this is another point for always stay hydrated at the faire, especially when it's hot as balls.

Other updates, I graduated yay! off to college for me now after this summer is over. I also got some summer job's house sitting for some friends of my moms so fuck yeah income. I have some ideas on what I wanna spend the money on, like some new comics orrrr THE GHOVIE SOUNDTRACK! I'm so fuckn exited for the movie, I'm going to see it twice in theaters and I can't fuckn wait! There's a local-ish record store and I really gotta go over there and buy one rock and roll disc.

Some project updates. I'm working on this new kind of religious inspired piece based off something a distant relative said to me one time (they had a dream about me being a guardian angel or something riding horseback with a sword and I think the imagry is metal as hell.) I got more rings for the chainmail so i'm making slow progress on the shirt and I've got a pile of books I wanna read (some star trek novels, I got the entirity of the Dragon Ball series as a graduation present, the third issue of chainsaw man, the first two books in the game of thrones series (it's my nerd homework) and an absolute fuckn pile of misc fantasy and sci-fi novels.) Other things I wanna do but probably won't have time for is my pile of art projects and a stack of video games that need playing. I'm sorry alice the madness returns and the darksiders series, (and assassins creed, and Metal gear solid, and... I'll stop myself here before I add more lists) oh more free time please let me get through at least some of this mountain of things to do.
