ghost or hoax?

so me and some friends have been going out exploring our village again lately, and one of our friends(X) had a dream that me, X and two of our other friends were lying dead on a trail ,we were looking at, the day before we went. they said it looked like we had gone back down the trail then come back up to get out. we were laid in the exact position we were walking in as well.

for some history, this trail is next to a roundabout/café and backs onto some construction sites, when we first found it we found a shelter(?) of sorts, like a homeless person was living there. but as we explored it throughout that week strange things started happening. X had a stalker who started showing up again, we kept hearing the same whispering noises and seeing shadows of sorts. it constantly felt like we were being followed and, on probably one of the dryest summers my country has ever seen(to date), a pentagram/pentacle was burnt into the woods backing one of my other friends (Z) homes.

all this happened in the summer holidays of 2022, we have not gone back until Tuesday this week(and very briefly once before). when we went back (the first time) the shelter was compleatly destroyed, and upon returning it was almost entirely gone. upon returning we conducted a "séance"(using admittedly unreliable means, like mobile apps) and communicated (again with an app) using the Estes method. i have already mentioned that we were using an app for picking up "radio waves", however we have had clear communication in certain areas with some "ghosts"  telling us repetitive or cohesive(clear?) sentences. one example is friend Z when X was "communicating" with a supposed entity it was saying "stand up, sit down, good boy, pretty boy,"(this is not the only things said just what what was repeated the most) and Z stood and sat when it said to (pretty dumb if you ask me) and after said "pretty boy" ect , Z was the only male of the group present.

according to X the headphones sounded like two(+) people arguing, and when i tried them i could hear some music (mostly jazz/piano again??) and a very deep voice, the voice startled me so i threw off the headphones but when i put them back on i briefly heard a young child/woman's voice talking. (i cant recall everything said and footage of the day is stuck on Zs phone, if we get the footage ill probably update on this blog.)

but I'm not too sure if the place is actually haunted or if its just some fake apps convincing us of a childish delusion(most of the group has history with mental health issues and/or trauma related injuries/conditions). i am aware that group hallucinations can occur and so can auditory, but i remember X saying they saw cloaked (white??) figures at the time(2022). we were and for the most part still think a cult is in the area but cannot find anything on the topic when doing research. to clarify we live in a suburban area in western Europe.
