i'm so busy lately

hey! so i've been pretty booked with school and friends this past week, but i wanted to come back online to see what's new.

this past week has been alright. i got the go ahead to start orientation for volunteering a while ago and i'm so excited to begin doing that! i hope that volunteering lets me meet new friends...

i ended up volunteering for a little carnival kind of thing (outside of the orientation thing) as well, but that kind of sucked. i was separated from my friends most the time, and my job was to organize lines and make sure nobody was butting. people kept yelling at me and it was just overall awful... i almost passed out; the sun was just beating on my skin and i couldn't take more than one break, which only lasted ten minutes.

recently, i made a new friend too! but i kinda feel mixed. he was nice and all for the first week, but it's slowly devolved into him mostly just talking to me about his troubles with alcohol and his ex.

anyways, that's how my week has gone, how is everyone else doing?
