hi i'm new here idk where to post this i just have a quick question
are friend requests like the same as following somebody like on twitter or something? as in, see their bulletins/blogs/etc (posts)?
theres no follower option, so i'm guessing its the same thing. i don't want to accidentally become "friends" with someone that i don't get along with, but i wouldn't mind their prescence on my feed or something

yeah its kinda similar, anyone you 'friend' has to accept a friend request from you. then the bulletins you make are only visible to everyone in your friends list
