No lie, there are A LOT of ways to make money online. The problem is that people want everything for free.
For example, I started out on Fiverr, offering my amateur photo editing skills. I got one client. That's it. After that, it was a while before I got an e-mail from Fiverr saying that since I hadn't had any activity, they were going to hibernate my offer. Fabulous.
Then I tried writing on Medium. Here's the big secret: IF YOU'RE NOT WRITING ABOUT HOT TOPICS OR WRITING A NEW STORY EVERY FEW HOURS, YOU'RE GETTING BUPKIS!!! I earn about 10 to 15 cents every month. Every little bit helps? 🤷🏽♀️
Then I tried selling print-on-demand products. Crickets. And also, Etsy was charging me every month just to LIST my items. No thanks.
Then I took a (now outdated) course on digital marketing. It's great... if I'd just got in during or right before 2020. Mind you, it's not oversaturated, but it's hard to get people to even look at your content online unless you're STEALING someone else's viral content. It's like pulling teeth just to convince your audience to check out your link and even then, "Eww another course? No thanks." They want results. That no one has yet... until someone BUYS WHAT YOU OFFER FIRST.
Anyway, after that I had considered putting everything I'd learned into an e-book instead of trying to sell a course. Then I took a look around at everyone asking how people are selling their e-books.
So now I'm just considering coaching. Why? Because people love instant gratification. Because people want a person to communicate with. Because people feel like having a coach or mentor is, [in Kim K. voice] like, SO much more professional, you know?
(Correct me if I'm wrong, if you must.)
But UGH!!! Being in the digital marketing space is becoming impossible.
Anyway, what's you're experience?
