Weekly Blog #2: Cease and Desist from Dreamworks

Hey everyone,

I can't believe what just happened. I received a cease and desist letter from Dreamworks for featuring a Shrek plush in my Mario plush show videos. Can you believe it?! I never thought something like this would happen to me, especially since I've seen so many other YouTubers use similar plush toys in their videos.

I'm honestly kind of shocked and a little scared about what this means for my channel. I never intended to infringe on anyone's copyrights or trademarks, I just thought it would be fun to include some different characters in my videos. But now, I'm not sure what to do.

I've taken down the videos that included the Shrek plush, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I don't want to get into any legal trouble or have my channel taken down because of this. It's really disheartening because I put so much time and effort into creating these videos for my viewers.

I guess I'll have to reach out to Dreamworks and see if there's anything I can do to resolve this issue. In the meantime, I'll have to be more careful about what I include in my videos and make sure I'm not unknowingly breaking any rules.
