Atoms of me - a poem about strong bonds

Atoms of Me

When i lay down forevermore,

Don’t bury me in a box.

Bury me in a hole you bore,

Wrap me in dirt and rocks.

Let her savagely devour me

lost child who returned home.

Our tryst brief, she will set me free

Returned to Earth, i roam.

Atoms of me will search for you

Whose ties to me do not wane.

A fly in the siren sundew,

A rosebud in the rain.

Atoms of me will search for you

In wind beneath the birds wing.

Veiled on strangers you thought you knew,

Hidden in songs you sing.

Find me o’ doomed to reminisce

For every breath that left my lips

carries with it a kiss.
