hi! i've been interested in weird websites, and by weird i mean... shitty design. but also just strange. well, whatever. i wanted to put it somewhere and i thought, maybe some other people would appreciate it. i'll keep on editing it whenever i find more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yvette's Bridal Formal - as in Yvette's Bridal Shop in Florida. why would i add this to the list? click yourself. the site's filled with links and links and links to different pages, it's literally endless. why the bridal shop? i don't know. it doesn't have anything to do with it, in reality. if you keep on looking, there are certain images that lead you to a page full of what i, respectfully, could only call schizophrenic rambling. disturbing. everyone asks what's Yvette's Bridal Formal but nobody asks how's Yvette's Bridal Formal.
keep in mind, this site will download a midi file once you enter. it's nothing malicious, it's a way for music to start playing whenever you go to the site, for older systems that need the file.
yyyyyyy.info - ...no idea. web design at its finest. a lot of it is nonsensical keyboard spam and stretched out images plastered over the screen, so there's no use in trying to figure it out. also, every time you refresh, you get a new website. apparently connected to NFTs... not cool. fun to look at, nonetheless.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Sailor Moon - yup, that's that. it's a png of him edited into Sailor Moon characters. very hot, very sexy. you gotta see this. if your parents come into your room, make sure to have an xvideos tab open because that's probably easier to explain.
subculture.com - this website was made to look like a virus. you'll get popup windows or notifications whenever you click on something. don't be scared: it's all fake and you can just close the browser.
keep in mind, there's some imagery of naked women if you click far enough.
LAUGHING HORSES ORIFICE HEADQUARTERS - or, LHOHQ. this one's pretty known on some parts of the internet. very anti-government, either a joke site or the ramblings of a person who's gone way too deep. it contains a lot of documents about government experments, research/ analytical papers, essays, scientific documents, apparently mapping of PSYOPS... it's a lot to dig through, and a big rabbit hole. i would recommend watching some stuff about it.
keep in mind, there is also some nudity if you click through, and also SEVERE flashing lights/images. DON'T go here if you have sensitive eyes or epilepsy
The Grotto - pretty interesting project. a lot of religious context/ imagery. i recommend going through the user sites listed on top of the main page. over all, there's a lot of effort that went into it.
The Galdrux Temple - another religious page. this time, it's a cult. of Galdrux, the... whatever. they go into detail about the whole premise of this faith. though if you scroll to the bottom, it's listed as fictional, but worth checking out nonetheless. maybe you'll become a follower.
Taking Over The Internet - or, Children's Immortality. now this one's very interesting to research about, especially about the guy who made it. the man had this whole idea of death being like The Game, if you don't know about death, you won't die. this made him want to build up this project of children's immortality; not letting children know that death exists, causing them to, well... be immortal. unfortunately the site is something else now, so the link to the proper one is on the wayback machine. still, pretty insane.
Free World Alliance - just so you know, i have no idea how much weed this guy smoked. he believes he has been reincarnated multiple times, stated on the reincarnation page of the site. very, VERY long main page - don't bother, the website has an audio embed of the author reading everything aloud. for one and a half hours. i mean, if you really gotta, smoke weed before you do it, just like god (that guy) intended.
zze.neocities.org - i... i don't know. it's speculated that most of the images on the website were made by the creator, which is worrying, since some of them can be gruesome. i don't like being on it for more than 2 seconds.
3301337 - scrapped cicada puzzle, archived. don't remember the exact reason. weird alien images, definitely something to do with that. though not relevant to the puzzle anymore, nice to check out - the entire project in general is really something.
Enricks Index - informative website about the completely made up Enricks disease, written in a foreign language. if the photo of the doctor is repeatedly clicked on, it'll distort more and more, and somewhere on the website you get linked to a video that was stolen from another ARG for some tv show.
Forgotten Languages - basically what the title says, though very different. the site is made up of articles about cryptic topics, and almost the entirety of the site is written in unknown languages; languages which were, apparently, forgotten. some people say the languages are just made up, and some claim that the website is made to communicate with the very few people that do understand them. it's still running, since 2009, having numerous contributors. how you get to contribute, i don't know, unfortunately. though if there are any forgotten language knowers reading...
The Simulation Argument - pretty straight forward. a website containing lots and lots of info on the theory that we live in a simulation. uses articles and videos. if you're sensitive to this type of stuff, don't look too deep. watch the matrix, maybe two of them.
Angels Heaven - okay, so this is a cult. pretty known in czechia and surrounding regions (my polish mom knew ab them). basically, their belief is that the galaxy is inhabited by other humans which have all ascended to being, like, higher beings. only on earth are the humans not higher beings. so the ascended humans communicate with certain people who want to achieve that level of ascention. also a belief that there will be an apocalypse or huge natural disaster, and the ascended people will rescue all the humans from earth. nowadays, the cult is about fighting saurians (lizard ppl lol). i went on a deep dive on this and watched some of their videos from their website with my friend. i recommend getting into it, it's genuinely interesting, though pretty horrifying how many people have been followers of this for a long time. i also have a powerpoint on it which i can happily send.
Heaven's Gate - this one's pretty known. basically, Heaven's Gate was a cult made in the 70s by two people. it was based on christian but also sci-fi beliefs, and the main goal was to eventually escape the human body and ascend to a higher form of being. by, obviously, death. this had to happen during the day that a certain comet would pass by Earth, as they were told that an extraterrestrial spaceship would be following the comet and would bring the "ascended" in. in 1997, the group performed this mass "ascension", though they left two people behind to take care of the website and to spread the word. very... eerie. i recommend to watch stuff about this one too, for sure. they also all died wearing the same sneakers (thanks for telling me, joey)
frazzled.rip - the website itself contains a weird image of Hillary Clinton, the backstory is more disturbing. apparently it's connected to a speculated video on the deep web (no idea if it exists, sounds insane, dont quote me), of Hillary and other political figures doing disturbing acts on someone.
keep in mind, the site apparently could give you malware. i wouldn't visit it, since it's just that image. be safe!
Superbad - yes, like the movie, no, it's not connected to it in any way. this one's more of a mystery than anything else, it seems endless and nobody tried to solve it; if there even is anything to solve.
kekma.net - DON'T GO ON THERE. though it has a screen before the real thing, when you click on enter, you'll be presented with gifs of very, VERY graphic stuff (gore). hard to click off of too, it goes fullscreen and gives you an "are you sure?" notif. please just don't. definitely not for the faint of heart. i'm putting it on the list to inform.
Hybrid RPG rule list - Hybrid is an RPG created by some guy that goes by Matthew or C++ online. nobody knows who this guy is, but his list of rules has become known because of the amount of them and also just the sheer ridiculousness of it. there are currently 551 entire rules, with most of them being incomprehensible, contradicting, tangents about politics (rule 551 starts off about war crimes) or even math equations. people have tried to follow the list but it is impossible. some think it's a very detailed joke.
Fighting Monarch - this website was made to inform about the so called "Project Monarch". this project is kind of similar to MK ultra and others of the mind control type. it seems like the website is still active, as the last update was... today? (12/11/2025). it mostly consists of just posts about conspiracy theories which are all over the place. i found it a little hard to navigate.
XCCR- a terminal. nobody has figured out what the real answer is. there have been connections made to Half-Life 2, as the terminal looks exactly the same as one that could be found on a computer monitor in the game, but also to Lost, as a password from that... movie? show? it's midnight, okay... it matches up.
Poorly Planned Comics - this was a webcomic that was pretty fitting its name. it was made by a man called Jack Masters, with it being real long with lots of characters, switch-ups in mood (from happy to genuinely depressing and depraved), and a puzzle that spans throughout the entire webcomic. the last chapter of the comic is a suicide note from Jack, with a link to his explanation/actual suicide note. Jack Masters has been confirmed to have passed away, as his death was linked to the death of a real man with the same way that matches up with what he had described he would do. [*]. linked is an archive of his work.
ET Friends - dolphins are extraterrestrial beings from multiverses and we should all be friends and worship them. quote, Joan Ocean, the founder of this theory and website. mentions of telepathy. you could actually have paid to hang out with Joan Ocean during a certain time and watch dolphins with her! this is unfortunately no longer available. also, is this type of cultist website design really popular among them?
973 eht namuh 973 - i don't... know? nobody knows. this website is full of mysteries and puzzles which nobody has been able to figure out yet. i find it pretty unsettling to click through it as it is hard to navigate as well. i should not be doing this shit at midnight. anyway, the domain is registered to a man named Dave Dennison who has passed away. because of that, nobody knows whos currently running it, but people have theorised it's a cult of numerology and whatnot. religion, or art project? that's the question. it also has a forum section, where the infamous "Nugetian Meat Cycle" stems from. what that is is also very unclear, as the poster has been very cryptic about it, with the graphs attached being... not much help. the poster has stated he will explain more if you message him privately, but not much is known, still.
